1902 Coronation Medal, EDVII, 26th June 1902, Bronze, named on the reverse to Regimental Sergeant Major A. Smith, 2nd Prov Regt of Hussars.
Contemporarily engraved on the reverse: “R.S.M. A. Smith. 2nd Prov Regt Hussars.”
At the Coronation, each Cavalry Regiment of the Line offered up a representative Officer and a Senior Sergeant.
The 1902 Coronation Roll records that a R.S.M. A. Smith represented the 10th Hussars, alongside Capt A.L. Cave
