Baltic Medal 1854-55, contemporarily engraved: “Thomas Joyce Armorer HMS Russell”
Suspension slightly loose with some contact marking and general wear over some years.

There are some Royal Navy service papers that exist for a possible Thomas Joyce, who had joined the Royal Navy on 11th April 1859, having served 21 years previously in the Royal Marines, he finished off his career as Armourer of St Vincent, and Imperieuse from 27th May 1859 until 3rd April 1861, rounding off 23 years of service.
