Companion of the Order of the Bath, C.B. Civil Division, Breast Badge, 18 Carat Gold, 1863 production, with swivelling suspension ribbon buckle and silk ribbon.
Fully hallmarked, with the “Crown” and “18” for 18 Carat Gold on one side, with a Young Victoria, London Town Mark and H letter for 1863.
An early example of the Civil Division award, it was only since 1847 that a Civil Division was created for the Order.
