On an original silk ribbon sewn onto a French style gilt ball tipped bar.
Slipped onto the ribbon are the 4 clasps, including a French version of the “Balaklava” clasp reading “Balaclava” when produced in France they spelled it their own way rather an adopting the British spelling.
