A Soldier named Bouvier, of the 50th Regiment du Ligne.
The “50e Regiment d’infaterie du Ligne” had just before the war fought in Algeria at the capture of Laghouat.
During the Crimean War they fought at Alma, Inkermann and the mostly French battles of Traktir and Malakoff.
