Description

Distinguished Conduct Medal, GV, Sgt H.G. Reynolds, South African Medical Corps.

Naming mostly erased with “EYN” “S.A.M.C.” as still legible, research has shown it to be the medal of Sgt H.G. Reynolds, S.A.M.C. the only matching recipient with these letters in his name.

Awarded in the London Gazette 3rd October 1918.

Citation of award: “For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. This NCO has done most excellent work in the past 18 months in 2 separate areas.
