Description

Distinguished Flying Cross GVI, dated 1945, in case of issue, Distinguished Flying Medal, GVI, Pilot Officer Bernard Cunningham Bull, Royal Air Force.

 

D.F.M. awarded as “905503 F/Sgt B.C. Bull RAF”

 

Pilot Officer Bull participated in three different Operational Tours during the war, from 1941 until 1945.

 

He flew his first Operation on the night of 24th February 1941 in a Wellington Bomber, part of 218 Squadron.

 

He was awarded the D.F.M. on his first tour, awarded in the London Gazette of 29th December 1942, for his gallant flying from 1941 to 1942.
