Efficiency Decoration, clasp T. & A.V.R. EIIR, Only issued between 1969-1982, dated 1979 on reverse. In fitted case of issue.
The reserve force of the UK was known as the Territorial Army Volunteer Reserve from 1969 until 1979, this decoration was awarded to those who earned the Efficiency Decoration between 1969 and 1982 who would receive this new version with “T.&A.V.R.” with with a new ribbon design, before the top clasp reverted back to read “Territorial” after 1982, when the Reserves returned to the old name of “Territorial Army” from 1979-2014.
