The ERD E.R.D. was a short lived decoration instituted on 17th November 1952 until it was discontinued in 1967.

The award was given to Officers of the Army Supplementary Reserve or Army Emergency Reserve of Officers for 12 years of continuos or aggregate service.

It was replaced in 1967, by the Efficiency Decoration with “T. & A.V.R.” clasp.
