Frederick Collett, was born in Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire on 15th Dec 1867, lived most of his life in Bristol and married his wife Harriett who was also from Gloucester there.
In later life he moved a few miles west to settle in Caldicot, Monmouthshire, Wales, where he is shown on the 1939 Census as working as a retired Hover Painter.
They lived at The Pile, Caldicot, Chepstow R.D., Monmountshire, Wales.
He died there aged 82 on 16th September 1950.
His son James Henry Collett is shown there was born on 22nd June 1912, working as a Public Works Labourer.
James was born on 22nd June 1912, in Newport, Monmouthshire.
He died there, after a career in Public Service, circa July 1995.
