Description

India General Service Medal 1854, 2 bars, Burma 1887-89, Burma 1885-7, 6457 Pte G. Savage, Rifle Brigade. With service papers.

Bars technically in wrong order, as the Burma 1885-7 bars were always issued without top lugs not allowing further awarded bars to be mounted on top so they have been swapped around.

One very small edge knock about 7 o’clock on the obverse, suspension a bit loose.

George Savage was born during 1862 in Birmingham, he attested for service with the Rifle Brigade on 22nd November 1883.
