Scarce to a non Gurkha regiment from the Nepalese Army battalion ‘Pashupati Prasad’.

 

Following WW1 the Nepalese were once again requested by British India to aid in their war against Afghanistan, they had revitalized tactical training starting in May 1919 and the army commanded by General Baber Shumsher reached India with the British Army receiving them with a 13 gun salute.
The troops were mostly concentrated in Awotabad, later the group was deployed to Nausera and the 2nd Group in Marden.
