Military Medal, GV, 1914 Star, with original Mons clasp ‘5th Aug – 22nd Nov 1914’, British War Medal, 5412 Corporal Arthur Taylor, 6th Dragoon Guards.

 

Swing mounted as worn on silk ribbons, without his Victory Medal.
Military Medal impressed: “D-20146 SJT A. TAYLOR 6/D. GDS”
1914 Star impressed: “5412 PTE A. TALOR 6/D. GDS.”
BWM Impressed: “6DG-5412 CPL A. TAYLOR 6-D GDS.”

 

Military Medal announced in the London Gazette 27th June 1918, which records him as from Rushulme, Manchester

 

First entered into France on 16th August 1914.
Transferred from No 3 General Hospital at Le Treport to Hospital Ship Brighton at Dieppe to be invalided back to England on 13th May 1915, having received a gunshot wound to the right of his chest.
