Military Medal, GV issue, an original unnamed example as awarded to foreign recipients, in excellent toned condition with small piece of original ribbon with the wearing buckle as issued (style of a DFC or DSC)
We also have added a full length of new ribbon for display.
During WW1 any non British recipients of the Military Medal would be presented in the field with the Ribbon during the war and typically would have to get a usually French made copy for wearing. The Mint would then send them their Military Medal with the attached ribbon buckle and length of silk ribbon later which were never officially named. They would only be attributed by a named Military Medal Certificate which they would also receive.
