Shown on the 1861 Worldwide Army Index as serving with the regiment stationed in Rangoon at which time he was a Private.
Officially impressed: “101. Corpl D. Wilson. 68th Foot”
Medal roll confirms he served in New Zealand from 8th August 1864 to 13th March 1866, being later discharged during January 1868
