Description

Queen’s South Africa Medal, 5 bars, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, SA 1910, SA 1902, 1914 Star trio, 13351 Bugler J. J. Taylor, Royal Army Medical Corps.

QSA officially impressed: “13351 Bglr: J. J. Taylor. R.A.M.C.”
1914 Trio all impressed: “13351 Pte. J. J. Taylor. R.A.M.C.” Some slight sticker toning on back of 1914 Star and Victory Medal.

Medal index card shows entitlement to his 3 WW1 medals, and first entry into France on 26th October 1914. Does not appear to have earned the bar for being “Under Fire”, his medal index card also states he served with “RCH” RAMC, at a Red Cross Hospital.
