Additionally entitled to a Belfast bar according to service papers and the King’s South Africa Medal.

 

John Edward Foster was born circa 1863 in Scarborough, Yorkshire. He attested for service aged 20 with the Princess of Wales Own Yorkshire Regiment on 9th March 1883.
