Description
Queen’s South Africa Medal, no bar, named “Mr M. Dwyer”, He was a Civilian Telegraphist with the Army Telegraph Department, attached to the Royal Engineers, roll records him entitled to the Transvaal bar and the medal roll remarks “Recommended”, but nearly all civilians had their entitlement to bars cancelled. Most other recipients on the roll had their entitlement struck through and did not appear to earn a medal.
