Queen’s South Africa, 3 bars, Cape Colony, Transvaal, Wittebergen, King’s South Africa Medal, 2 bars, SA 1901, SA 1902, 7633 Pte William Holland, 2nd Bn Scots Guards, From St Helens, Liverpool, With copy service papers.

 

Q.S.A. Officially engraved in Guards/Officer Style, with the number reading “7632” instead of “7633” on the KSA which is correct.

 

William Holland, born in St Helens, Liverpool, Lancashire joined the Scots Guards on 19th July 1884.

 

He served overseas in South Africa for the Boer War between 23rd May 1900 and 4th August 1902.

 

He otherwise served at home and completed 16 years of service by the time of his discharge on 19th December 1903.
