Noted as having been slightly wounded in action at Bergendal on 27th August 1900, during the Battle that was also known as the Battle of Belfast or Dalmanutha, where he earned his final Clasp to the QSA.

All the medals are contemporarily swing mounted for wear on the original silk ribbons, with a matching silk ribbon bar.

Mr William Wadsworth, was born in Hackney, London during 1876.
He attested for service in the Rifle Brigade on 11th October 1894, joining from the local Militia, 3rd Battalion Royal Fusiliers.
He saw the following service:

Egypt, 1st July 1898 – 20th September 1898, Nile Expedition of 1898 including Battle of Omdurman (Khartoum clasp).
Crete, 21st September 1898 – 14th November 1899, the Occupation of Crete 1898.
South Africa, 12th November 1899 – 12th October 1902, Boer War services.
