Queen’s South Africa, bar Relief of Ladysmith, King’s South Africa, 2 bars, SA 1901, SA 1902, Army Long Service and Good Conduct, EVII, 9435 Quartermaster Sergeant John McEvoy, Royal Army Medical Corps.

His QSA is to the rank of Sergeant, his KSA is to Staff Sergeant and LSandGC to Q.M. Sergeant.

A further entry on the medal roll of the 10th Brigade Bearer Company, Royal Army Medical Corps shows him as also entitled to the Natal bar which was sent separately, which would make for a most unusual combination on a QSA medal of Relief of Ladysmith and Natal
