The front of the badge reading: “1914 EUROPEAN WAR SPECIAL CONSTABLE” alongside the Tynemouth Arms crest of Tynemouth reading in Latin: “Messis Ab Altis”

 

The reverse buttonhole fitting is named in white enamel: “W HADDON SPECIAL CONSTABLE”
