Waterloo Medal 1815, Lawrence Dunne, 32nd (Cornwall) Regiment of Foot.

 

At the battles of Waterloo & Quatre Bras, the 1st Battalion 32nd Regiment suffered 370 casualties out of 662 men, over half of their strength becoming casualties at a rate of 56%, their total strength mustered after the 2 days of battle, stood at 131 men.

 

He was a member of Captain Hugh Harrison’s Company during the battle.

 

On the 1st muster following the battle of Waterloo, like many other men Private Dunne was noted as “Sick Absent” likely having been one of the wounded.
