Waterloo Medal, 18th June 1815, contemporary re-engraved naming to “E * C * Hudson 54th Regt of Foot.”
With 3 of the original impressed stars remaining near the clip, fitted with a clip and replacement split suspension ring.
An original striking of the Waterloo Medal, the original impressing has been neatly erased and nicely engraved in a contemporary style.
Two men with the surname Hudson served at Waterloo with the 54th Foot, however none with these initials.
