Confirmed on the medal roll as being entitled to the Medal and Clasp inscribed Kumassi, which recalls at the time of writing the roll at Kumasi on 17th May 1902, that Pte Kukawah was now stationed in Kwisa.”
Kwisa was not far outside of Kumassi in present day Ghana.
