A good WWI period undated George V Cypher DSC, with silver hallmarks to reverse dating production to 1918 “C” in London by Sebastian Garrard (Garrards).
Mounted on original silk ribbon and wearing pin, in the official fitted Garrard & Co case of issue, the outside in unsually well preserved and unscuffed condition.
First World War awards of the DSC are rare, with less than 2,000 being awarded throughout the war, with about 91 Second Award Clasps and 10 Third Awards.
