General Service Medal, bar S.E. Asia, 14312171 Private G. Raper, Royal Lincolns. The 1st Battalion was deployed to Sumatra after the war.

Good conditioned, toned, with old sewn on ribbon.
Confirmed on the medal roll.
The 1st Battalion of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, “The Lincolns” had previously served in Burma during the War.
During 1945-6 they were then deployed to Sumatra, where they earned this medal and the clasp “S.E. Asia.”
