Anton Adriaan (Ad) Mussert ( Wurkendam , 11 May 1894 – The Hague , 7 May 1946 ) was an engineer , politician, founder and leader of the National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands (NSB) in the years before and during the Second World War . The Nazis , the NSB and their sympathizers presented him as the leader of the Netherlands from 1942 to May 1945. After the liberation he was sentenced to death foir Treason and executed.
