Order of Franz Joseph Officer, pin back breast badge in bronze gilt, with backplate by Vinc Mayers Sohne, also with wartime star hallmark on pin and eagles talon, excellent condition, small fading of gilding on reverse.

During the war, Vinc Mayers and Sohne in Vienna, Austria, had to switch from Gold and Silver to Bronze for their badges circa 1916 as the war carried on.
These would be the final badges of the order, as soon as the war ended the order was dissolved, alongside the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
