Officially engraved in running script: “176 Syce Lingoo S&T Corps Secbad Dist”
Confirmed on the medal roll, which notes that his medal along with those of his unit were “Bronze Medals sent by G.O.C. South Africa, to India for distribution.”
A particularly well preserved example of this scarce medal, to a non combatant labourer.
