Excellent condition, toned.

 

Confirmed as having been awarded during 1912.

 

A rare and unusual medal awarded between 1908 and 1930, for “15 years efficient and irreproachable service in the Special Reserve and attending 15 annual training’s.”

 

In about 22 years it was only awarded about 1,078 times, before it was replaced by the Efficiency Medal. 428 were issued by King Edward VII and 650 by King George V.
