Queen’s South Africa Medal, bar Defence of Mafeking, A. Thomas, Mafeking Town Guard. The rarest clasp to this medal, earned for the Siege of Mafeking.
A particularly good condition example of a very rare medal, with old tone.

The famous Siege of Mafeking, lasted from 13th October 1899 – 17th May 1900, becoming under siege almost as soon as the war had began, under the command of Lieutenant General Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the Boy Scouts.
