Officially impressed: “6846 Pte. T. Barnes, Rl: Warwick: Regt” Confirmed on the medal roll.

With copy Militia Papers. Good toned condition.

Shown on a further roll dated 1903, which notes further entitled to a South Africa 1901 clasp which was sent later, the medal roll notes “Medals received and issued to the 6th R. War. R.”

The further roll has him down as “H.T. Barnes”, but the medal is correct as the roll for the medal has him down as “T. Barnes”.

He did originally serve correctly as “Thomas Barnes” but a further hand written note on his papers add “Harry” above his name.
