Queen’s South Africa, 3 bars, Cape Colony, Paardeberg, Driefontein, 13645 Driver F.H. Edwards, 33rd Company Army Service Corps, who died at Kroonstad on 17th May 1900.

 

Officially engraved: “13645 Dr F.H. EDWARDS. A.S.C.”

 

Confirmed on the medal roll which remarks: “Died 17/5/00”

 

The Boer Casualty Roll notes he died at Kroonstad on 17th May 1900.

 

Leading up to his death he had seen action at the Battle of Paardeberg (18-27th February 1900) followed by Driefontein on 10th March 1900).
