Officially impressed: “615 Sapr. C. Campbell. R.E.”

 

Confirmed on the medal roll, also earning the QSA with clasps for Belmont, Orange Free State, Transvaal.

 

Served in the Boer War with the 11th Field Company, Royal Engineers.

 

Born in Barony, City of Glasgow, Scotland.

 

18 year old former Bricklayer, attested for service on 14th January 1897.
